The membership fee is a one-time payment that covers the entire
duration of the agreement, typically spanning 30 to 50 years.
However, an annual fee, known as the Annual Maintenance Charges
(AMC), is required. The AMC covers essential costs associated
with resort management, such as bookings, cancellations,
customer service, and housekeeping.
Any increase in the AMC of more than 5% per year requires
approval from the Company’s Trustee. Please note that the AMC is
applicable even if a Timeshare Holder does not use their
entitlement in a particular year.
Most timeshare companies are affiliated with international
resort exchange networks. The Company is affiliated with Resort
Condominiums International (RCI), providing Timeshare Holders
the opportunity to exchange their entitlements at resorts
worldwide.
Timeshare Holders who opt not to subscribe to RCI can only use
their entitlements at the Company’s home resorts and Made
Available Resorts. For those who wish to exchange with other
RCI-affiliated resorts, an annual subscription fee is
applicable, along with an exchange fee each time an exchange is
made. If a Timeshare Holder wishes to re-subscribe to RCI after
a lapse, a re-activation fee may also apply.
Planning a vacation? Whether you’re aiming for a New Year holiday in Langkawi or another destination, it’s best to book in advance to secure your preferred accommodation. The earlier you make a reservation, the better your chances of getting the dates and location you desire.
Once your booking is confirmed by the Company or RCI, ensure you
receive a Booking Confirmation Slip (BCS) via email, or other
means. This BCS will serve as your check-in ticket at the
resort. Double-check that all the details on the BCS are
correct, including the number of people staying.
Please note that certain bookings or cancellations may incur
fees. Additionally, avoid bringing more guests than stated, as
resorts have strict policies regarding occupancy limits.
Different timeshare companies, including ours, have specific fees, rules, and regulations. Some local and RCI-affiliated resorts may impose utility fees in addition to the yearly AMC when you occupy a unit. A security deposit is also required upon check-in. We strongly advise you to review the rules and regulations to ensure a smooth experience.
