RESERVATION PROCEDURE

For Home Resort

 

Check-in and Check-out

  1. Internal Resorts:
    Check-in and Check-out time at Internal Resorts shall not be earlier and later than the stipulated time of each resort respectively. Members/Guests are only permitted to check-in to any resort if a prior reservation is made through Member Services and upon presentation of the Booking Confirmation Slip (BCS) as well as proof of identification at the resort.

  2. External Resorts:
    Check-in and check-out time and day differs from resort to resort participating in the RCI Exchange Program. Members/Guests are required to follow the existing practices adopted by different RCI affiliated resorts. Details are available in the Resort Directory for members’ convenience.
NOTE: Please notify the individual resorts for any delayed arrival to arrange for late check-in.


  

Refundable Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required at resorts (internal and external) to set off against any damages or expenses that Members/Guests may have incurred. The deposit shall be refunded in full, free of interest, in the event it is unutilized.


  

Occupancy of Resort Accommodation Unit (Internal and External)

A resort accommodation is defined as a unit apartment, chalet or hotel room, which may accommodate between 2 to a maximum of 6 persons including children. Accommodation units differ from resort to resort in term of:

  1. The maximum occupancy it can accommodate.
  2. The design layout.

The number of people in the Members’ party must conform to the maximum occupancy of the resort accommodation.

NOTE: Members/Guests will not be permitted to check-in if the maximum occupancy limit is exceeded. A surcharge may also be imposed for additional persons where necessary.


  

Utilization of Resort Accommodation Unit and Resort Facilities

Members/Guests are required to observe all rules and regulations, which differ from resort to resort, governing the use of accommodation, amenities and facilities.


  

Additional Expenses Incurred at Resorts

Policies governing expenses on utilities such as electrical and housekeeping differ from resort to resort. Some resorts require the occupant to bear the expenses. Members/Guests are required to settle any additional expenses incurred before checking-out from the resort.

Malaysia Taxes

  1. Government Taxes – any supply of goods or services by Leisure Holidays, where applicable, will be charged with any applicable Government Taxes at the rate fixed by the authority.

  2. Tourism Tax ("TTx") – a Non-Malaysian or Non-MyPR card holder Members/Guests will be charged a TTx for staying at any of the Leisure Holidays accommodation premises at the rate fixed by the authority.


  

Extension of Stay at Resorts

  1. Internal Resorts:
    During Office Hours, extension of stay can only be made upon confirmation by Member Services. During Non-Office Hours, extension of stay can only be made upon confirmation by Resort Staff.

  2. External Resorts:
    Any request for extension of stay is subject to availability of resort accommodation unit and is at Members/Guests own expenses. The rates for extended stay differ from resort to resort.

  

Housekeeping Service

Frequency of housekeeping services differ from resort to resort. At some resorts, housekeeping services is not provided during the stay while certain resorts, housekeeping is available upon request and at a fee.


  

Safety and Health

  1. Internal Resorts:
    During Office Hours, extension of stay can only be made upon confirmation by Member Services. During Non-Office Hours, extension of stay can only be made upon confirmation by Resort Staff.

  2. External Resorts:
    Any request for extension of stay is subject to availability of resort accommodation unit and is at Members/Guests own expenses. The rates for extended stay differ from resort to resort.

  

Guests

  1. Guests accompanying the Members
    Members may invite guests to share occupancy of the resort accommodation unit during the confirmed vacation period provided that the maximum occupancy limit which differs from resort to resort is not exceeded. All guests must be registered at the resort. Members shall be responsible for the conduct of their guests and for all additional expenses incurred by their guests at the resort.

  2. Guest unaccompanied by the Members
    At Internal Resorts, Members must submit a Guest Assignment Form together with a copy of Identity Card upon making a reservation for guest. Guests shall be required to present the Booking Confirmation Slip (BCS) stated their name and identity card number as well as proof of identification upon check-in.
